Editorial and Publishing Ethics

ABMRC closely follows globally recognized publication ethics, as it considers publishing ethics one of its fundamental principles. Every paper that ABMRC examines is subjected to a double-blinded peer review procedure in order to guarantee compliance. The purpose of the double-blind peer-review procedure is to confirm the originality and integrity of the research project. The journal’s peer-review procedure serves as a filter and raises the caliber of research that is submitted for publication. Additionally, this method helps the writers make the study more practical in real-time and eliminate any mistakes or gaps that were inadvertently missed in the publication. The following publishing ethical rules have been adopted by ABMRC.

Ethical Standards

ABMRC authors must adhere to the ethical standards and conduct that are mandatory for academic and scientific publishing. Authors must state that their work has not been published elsewhere, provide examples (if any), disclose any conflicts of interest, and have all textual material thoroughly cross-checked at the time of article submission. A duplicate of the moral leeway should be submitted for animal/human models.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the exact replication of published material. Every paper submitted to one of ABMRC’s affiliated publishing journals is cross-checked using Turnitin. Any article that contains plagiarized information, either fully or partially, will be removed immediately.

Conflict of Interest

The double-blind peer-review method is used by ABMRC. It should be the responsibility of the author or authors to disclose conflicts to prevent future ones.

Privacy Protection

Reviewers and editors should consciously look after the author(s)’ work. It is unethical to use or distribute unpublished material.

Human and Animal Rights

If necessary, unambiguous proclamations and ethical clearance declarations should be included with an article submission. The necessary proclamations must be submitted for any experiment involving human participants and animal models.

Consents/Instances

The author must outline any consents and examples to avoid making any further promises. When the author presents their work, they must make a clear declaration and sign it.

Civility & Misconduct Allegations

Editors, reviewers, authors, and journal staff are expected to adhere to the fundamentals of professional etiquette. Any verbal abuse, civil conversations, or insults are taken quite personally by ABMRC.

Editor/Associate Editors/Editorial Members Responsibilities

Editorship

Chief editors, associate editors, and editorial board members are subject-matter specialists who are essential to the peer-review process. The selection of editors is based on their stellar scientific credentials and standing in the industry. To preserve the caliber of publications and guarantee the highest standards of publishing ethics, they are expected to adhere to tight requirements.

Confidentiality

Editors will solely evaluate the submitted articles for peer review and quality assessment. Before the content is published or without the authors’ prior written authorization, they are not allowed to reveal any of its contents, whether in full or in part, in any form of print or electronic media. Any concepts or ideas produced by the submitted manuscript may not be used for profit or personal advantage.

Assessment of Manuscripts

Editors will assess content only based on its scientific merit and progress in current knowledge. Decisions cannot be made based on ethnicity, religion, race, gender, or any other commercial or personal interests.

Flexibility and Cooperation

Editors must propose and uphold ethical norms, be open to retractions, rectifications, and errata, and work with authors to enhance the caliber of publications.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Editors who have a conflict of interest will not evaluate any submitted paper for review themselves. In certain circumstances, a different associate editor or editorial board member will be taken into account.

Accountabilities

The publisher will work with the authors to swiftly examine any suspicions of misconduct, malpractice, or unethical behavior, and the issue will be diligently resolved.

Reviewers Responsibilities

Reviewership

Reviewers serve as crucial standards for high-quality publications and are an integral component of the peer-review process. It might be time-consuming and tiresome at times, but evaluating an article is a privilege.

Pre-acceptance Obligations

Reviewers should only agree to examine a manuscript if the topic of the research or study is within their areas of competence and they have enough time to turn in the report on time.

Conflict of Interest and Willingness

If there is a conflict of interest, the study is beyond their area of expertise, or they are unable to provide the assessment in time, reviewers will refuse to examine the paper. They can/will recommend alternate reviewers and will contact the editors as soon as possible.

Confidentiality

Reviewers will only have access to the submitted articles in order to assess their quality and the peer-review procedure. Before the content is published or without the authors’ prior written authorization, they are not allowed to reveal any of its contents, whether in full or in part, in any form of print or electronic media. Any concepts or ideas produced by the submitted manuscript may not be used for profit or personal advantage.

Objectivity

It is recommended that reviewers provide feedback on the study’s suitability, scientific substance, and result value. They are asked to refrain from evaluating the manuscripts on the basis of geographical origin, religion, ethnicity, gender, race, or any other commercial or personal interests.

Meeting Standards

Reviewers must abide by the standards established by the journal using the online portal. The “confidential comments to the editor” section of the online submission system is where any remarks regarding conflicting interests, duplicate publishing, unethical behavior, or questionable acts should be sent.

These types of articles (epub, eflip, html, and pdf) will be substituted by text indicating that the papers have been withdrawn. Small mistakes like typos, linguistic adjustments, or more concise explanations on the current topic will be published as corrections.
