Scholarship Coverage

The scholarships in Australia 2022 will cover the following expenses:.

Stipend: An annual living allowance of AUD $28,597 (tax-free, 2021 value) for up to 2 years for a research master’s degree and up to 3 years for a research doctoral degree.
Full tuition fee for the masters up to 2 years & for the PhD degrees up to 4 years.
Medical Funds (paid sick leave).
Overseas Student Health Cover
Travel Allowance Airfare ($1000 travel from their home country to/from Adelaide).

Starting with the Academic Year 2021/22, the MFEA will be offering:

(1) two annual scholarships for students reading for a full-time Master of Arts (Research on Islands and Small States), and

(2) one scholarship for a Doctor in Philosophy (PhD) student.

Selection criteria, among others, include past academic achievement and quality in the research proposal.
