Ahed Jumah Mahmoud Alkhatib

Dr. Ahed Jumah Mahmoud Alkhatib has worked as a researcher at Jordan University of Science and Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medical Technology from Campbell State University, USA. His main areas of interest are related to biomedical sciences, environmental sciences, cancer research, diabetes, Parkinson’s Disease, and autism. His areas of expertise include Immunohistochemistry, Histopathology, Special Stains, P53, Hsp70, Hsp90, Inos, Diabetes, Cancer, Tumor, Parkinson’s Disease, Autism, Heavy Metals, Environment, Lead, Mercury, Aluminum, Cobalt, Toxicology, Molecular, Lymphoma, Biomarkers, Leadership, and Violence Cell Cycle, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Apoptosis, Cancer Biomarkers, Epidemiology, and Gene Expression. He is the author and co-author of 41 research articles. He has published more than 130 articles in various medical fields, including neuroscience, pharmacology, and diabetes. His approaches to research include the involvement of the philosophy of science in research, which gives looking and thinking in depth. He has developed several hypotheses in medicine, such as the role of white matter in initiating diseases such as diabetes. In microbiology, he has demonstrated that prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells are similar in producing cell cycle proteins that can participate in autoimmunity diseases.

Lourdes Echevarría García

Dr. Lourdes Echevarría currently works as an Associate Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUCPR). She is researcher, member of various committees, including dissertation and thesis students. Author, national and international speaker. Editor of research journals (Peer reviewed Journal). Experience in various pharmaceutical industries in the departments of Quality Control, Environmental Safety, Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories at Abbott, Davis & Geck, Pharmacia and Pfizer. She also offered master’s courses in the environmental planning program at Ana G. Mendez University-AGMU. She contribute to several journals, such as Scientific editors (peer review). She has several investigations and publications. She belong to different associations such as Society of Microbiologists of P.R. (SMPR), International Mycology Association (IMC), Puerto Rican Mycology Society (SPM), Latin American Mycology Association (ALM), PHI KAPPA PHI Honor Society, among others.

Mirza Imran Shahzad

Dr. Mirza Imran Shahzad, chairman department of biochemistry has done his BSc from university of Punjab and MSc from PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. For research Dr. Mirza has worked for 2 years at virology lab, Animal health Division, NARC. He has worked at NIBGE, Faisalabad for one year during start of his PhD. Later he worked at biotechnology Lab at PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi under the supervision of Dr. Azra Khanum for 5 years. Dr. Mirza Imran Shahzad shifted to UC Davis, California USA in 2008 and worked there for 2 years. Since 2010, Dr. Mirza is serving at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur at various positions and currently working as chairman of department of biochemistry. He is a reviewer of different journals and life time member of many societies. He is on editorial board of Journal of Preventive, Diagnostic and Treatment Strategies in Medicine. Dr. Mirza has won many national research grants.
