United Nations University offers the JFUNU Master Scholarship program. The United Nations University’s Sustainability Development Master’s degree lasts two years. The United Nations Institution is a research-focused university established in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Its mission and goal are to solve global challenges relating to human development and do research on them.

Eligibility Criteria:
Following the eligibility criteria, this program
- Student must be from the following developing country list (check here).
- Students already working in Japan under a working visa are not eligible for this scholarship program.
- Student must not have already studied and graduated from any Master’s degree.
- Student must have completed an undergraduate degree program in a sustainability-related field.
- Student must have obtained a GPA of 2.8 or above on a 4.0 scale in an undergraduate degree program.
- Excellent academic background.
- Student must complete English Proficiency requirements.
Apply for JFUNU Scholarship Program:
Students must apply online using the JFUNU Application Portal, which can be found at the link below. The student will fill out the MSc in Sustainability Development application form and attach all required documentation. There is no need to apply for the scholarship programme separately. The JFUNU Scholarship Program will automatically consider students from underdeveloped nations.
